Who doesn’t want a fairytale wedding? We always think we can’t experiment and try out different themes at our Asian weddings, but that’s not the case. So often people are scared to go for wedding themes or ideas they want just because they feel they might be judged. It doesn’t matter though because it’s YOUR big day and everyone there will always respect your choices for how you want that day to be. No one said the ideas need to be cheesy though, have a look at all the ways you can have a fairytale wedding with elegance and style!
I’ll be honest, I didn’t really pamper myself much before my wedding. I kind of felt like I have so much to do, I don’t have time to indulge in these sorts of activities. Having said that, I’m making up for it now. Post-wedding every week I’m trying something new. My grandma used to always tell me how my scalp is dry and I should use coconut oil. She’ll be so proud when she finds out I use coconut oil in my hair every week now. My mother in law always keeps lemon peels (lemons cut in half and the juice squeezed out) for me to rub on my hands combined with white sugar. Literally it works like magic! So now my latest favourite pastime is googling the next best DIY scrub to try out and actually, they’re pretty easy and quick to do!
Let’s face it, our hunt for clutch bags and heels (especially gold & silver) never ends. I’m writing this post but frankly speaking, I don’t think this is a one off post. I’m sure I’ll write it again in the future; maybe even multiple times! I mean, browsing websites a.k.a online window shopping (which probably turns quite quickly into just shopping minus the window) is one of my favourite things to do. Can I call it a hobby? Hmm… Ok maybe I shouldn’t put it on my CV; but what I’m trying to say is – I love finding new items to buy and when I do I’ll share them all with you!
