1. Create a Snapchat filter for your wedding using Adobe Photoshop!

2. Create a personalised hashtag unique to your wedding.

3. Live-stream your wedding for people who can’t attend using software readily available across the internet.

4. Have a digital entrance sign. Life if all about perception and first impressions count a lot. If you have the coolest ideas displayed for your guests to see right from the moment they arrive, you can guarantee they’ll be floored by everything else at the wedding too.

5. Send out digital invitations or save the dates. How,  you ask? Well, you could create a Youtube video, send out a USB or create an MP3 file with your voice recorded inviting your friends and family to your special day. You could even have your wedding song subtly playing in the background!

6. Display pictures of you and your husband/wife on screens around the venue. Pre wed shoot would be even better!

7. Or make use of Facebook Live!

8. Create your own wedding website! There is so much you can do with this one! And believe me, using websites designed for this purpose, it just can’t get any easier!

9. Make an account on a Photo-share app and send out the link to all your key friends and family who you know will be taking pictures!

10. Why not come up with a unique wedding favour e.g. a CD or USB with all your favourite love songs, an iTunes gift-card, a ticket to the cinema or even a voucher-code which they can redeem online.

11. Attach a GoPro to your bouquet or purse. How fun would be it be to watch this back!!

12. Install charging stations for phones. These days everyone uses Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and love posting media then and there at the events – but we all know how this drains our phone batteries. There’s nothing worse than seeing the most amazing thing happen at a wedding and not being able to snap it because your battery has died!

13. Let everyone know of your DJ’s twitter handle so that they can tweet their song requests to the DJ!

14. Have you seen the light projection Disney fairytale cake?? I know! I love it too!!

15. Keep a WIFI password especially for your guests. Surely this is a given??
